Euro Pashmina (P) Ltd. is one of the pioneering manufacturers of cashmere products in Nepal. Euro Pashmina is located beneath the holy shrine of Swoyambhu Nath, which is in Kathmandu valley the capital of Nepal. With 300 workers working on more than 100 handlooms and a production capacity of around 30,000 pieces of shawls, we have specialized in weaving shawls for more than four decades. Euro Pashmina has been in existence for the past four decades, wholesaling and retailing in high quality Pashmina shawls and scarves. Over the past years we have established a sales representative as HIMALAYAN PASHMINA INC, in USA with the view of being more close to our customers so that we can satisfy them better. Our products can be found in different departmental stores and boutique around the world.

We have resorted to hand woven shawls keeping in mind the social cause of the country and following the tradition of hand weaving. The weavers are highly skilled, as the art of weaving shawls have been passed on through generations from father to son as a precious possession of art. The shawls and scarves made by our experienced weavers are the perfect examples of best hand woven shawls. We have wide range of colors to choose from to make everybody look beautiful. To keep up with the changing fashion we have developed many more designs, patterns and color combinations to perform extra ordinary look of 100% Cashmere, 100% Silk and Silk/Pashmina, 100% Bamboo. We have extended the line in knitting Section.We produce Scarves, Gloves and Sweater.

Making of Pashmina

Warping: Warping is the process of rolling silk yarn horizontal on a bean. There warping is usually done according to the width of the shawl you would like to make. In a shawl whose width is about 90 cm there are about 3800 silk yarn threads.  Drafting: This is the process of inserting the silk yarn in the nylon netting to form different patterns on the shawls. There are certain ways in which this can be done as if you insert the silk yarn in the wrong way the yarn will not get locked which will ruin the shawl.
